Personalized Custom Coasters

While we do have a range of pre-established coaster designs for you to personalize, it’s also possible to create a one-of-a-kind coaster with our design tool. Follow the instructions below, and you’ll be able to upload artwork, compose messages and experiment with our ready-made icons and graphics. We’ve described every step in detail, so it should be impossible to slip up!

• Step 1: There are 15 blank thumbnails at the top of this page: the first should be a ‘Marble Stone Coaster’ and the last is a set of ‘Custom Diamond Coasters.’ Click on any one of these to start your project. You don’t need to remember the promo code indicated on this page, either; it’ll be automatically applied at the checkout.
• Step 2: Let’s say that you chose the ‘Marble Stone Coaster.’ On the product page, you’ll see a drop-down labeled ‘Stone Type.’ If you want to see what other materials are available without having to revert to the custom coaster page, you can do that here. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
• Step 3: Click on ‘Customize This Design’ and our design interface will open (the buttons ‘Share’ and ‘Done’ should be visible in the top-right corner). Use the buttons on the left first, though, such as ‘Text’ and ‘Elements,’ to work on your project.
• Step 4: Click ‘Done’ to finalize your design. Adjust the figure in the ‘Qty’ menu if you want to order several coasters; if not, then just click on ‘Add to Cart’ to drop this personalized coaster into your shopping basket.

Earlier, when we were guiding you through the customization process, we noted that it was possible to change the ‘Stone Type’ of your coaster. However, we should also point out that coasters are available in multiple different materials on Zazzle, including paper, plastic and acrylic. Depending on how and where they’re going to be used, you might need to rethink your choice!

• Stone Coasters: The best thing about stone coasters is that, being made of a thick marble or sandstone, they’re extremely absorbent. They’re also unlikely to stick to a table when used as bar coasters.
• Plastic Coasters: Plastic probably won’t last as long as stone, but it’s a budget-friendly choice, and they’re easy to clean.
• Acrylic Coasters: Acrylic coasters look like glass, but they’re not going to shatter when dropped by a boozy customer. They’re also pretty durable and are unlikely to ever warp due to extreme heat.
• Glass Coasters: Glass coasters might not the most practical option for a hectic restaurant or bar, but they’ll look very sharp in a high-class hotel.
• Paper Coasters: Let’s be clear: these coasters aren’t just made out of A4 paper stock – if they were, it wouldn’t take long for them to shrivel up with moisture! Rather, these coasters are made of a sturdy 50 pt. pulp board, and that’s what makes them suitable to rest your drink on.
